My daughter and I were discussing our To Do lists today. Her life with a husband and six kids and many animals in the mountains is way different that mine. But she didn’t think twice about her activities even though she often refers to us as the Country Mouse and the City Mouse.

My daughter often refers to us as “The Country Mouse and the City Mouse” and it’s true. Though she was raised as a city girl, she’s risen to become a “Mountain Mama” whose ready to meet challenges I’ve never heard of. And did I mention she’s also has two baby goats? Though our lives are so different, we are both family and friends, bound by a shared faith.
